Our Fees

All our fees are flat rates. So no additional costs for prescriptions or long consultations.

Our fee will always be cheaper than hospital rates. Most insurance companies will cover the costs. Our doctor will provide a detailed invoice for reimbursement by your health insurance. Questions regarding the rates? Please contact us.

Fees in Amsterdam & Utrecht

  • Hotel / AirBnB / Home visit – € 150,00 (including prescription if needed)
  • Visit during Public Holidays – €175,00
  • Medication Renewal – € 25,00 (no new medication)

Payments are to be made directly after the consultation. This can be done by creditcard (additional fee of €5,00) or cash. In Utrecht it is not yet possible to pay by cash, only by creditcard. Our doctor will provide an invoice for reimbursement

Reimbursement & additional services

A detailed receipt for submission to your insurance company will be provided with the consultation. All major insurance companies will reimburse our services.

When do I call Hoteldoc?

You can call us if you want a doctor to come to your (hotel)room. If there’s not a life threatening situation a GP will normally be the first doctor to call in the Netherlands.

How do I Pay for Hoteldoc?

In Amsterdam payments are made by cash or credit card. For payments by creditcard an additional €5,- transaction fee applies.

In Utrecht it’s only possible to pay with your credit card.

All major credit card companies are accepted.

Does my insurance company cover the costs of Hoteldoc?

Yes!

We provide a detailed invoice for reimbursement. In most cases your insurance company will pay back the costs. Some affiliated insurance companies will provide a GOP (guarantee of payment). In those cases Hoteldoc will send the invoice directly to your insurance company, so you don’t have to pay.

Please ask your health or travel insurance to contact us for such an arrangement.

I don't have cash or a credit card at hand, what do I do?

If you are staying in a hotel you can ask the receptionist to put the costs on your hotel bill. You pay the invoice when you check out.

You could also ask your insurance company for a GOP (guarantee of payment). With a GOP Hoteldoc will send the invoice to your insurance company directly.

I forgot my medication at home / ran out of medication. What do I do?

 If you need a renewal on your existing scripts we can provide a new one.

Our doctors are not allowed to prescribe new meds or controlled drugs without a consultation.

We will not disclose your personal information without your approval to any other party. Not even to the police in drugs related cases. For more information check our complete privacy policy.
